FRESNO — The 49th Annual City/County All-Star basketball game on May 11th at Bullard High School, gave several local athletes one last time to represent their schools.

It also gave seven athletes from Hanford and Lemoore High Schools a final chance to showcase their skills.

Led by Lemoore's Juelein Fox and Jaden Jones, who combined to score 39 points, the South All-Stars defeated the North All-Stars 93-92. Fox finished with 20 points, while Jones added 19 in the final of four games that took place.

Lemoore teammates Jayden Bray-Williams and Daniel Charleston were members of the North Squad. Charleston ended the game with seven points, while Bray-Williams had four points. 

Hanford's Carson Verhoeven was also on the South squad and added three points.

Hanford's Sapphire Jones scored four points for the North Squad as they defeated the South Squad 72-52 in the main girls game.

Lemoore's Janay Avalos had six points for the East girls All-Star team. The East lost to the West 69-44.

The East boys All-Star team defeated the West 91-86 in the second game of the day played.
