SELMA – Six Selma High sophomores were surprised with a Bear A.T.T.A.C.K. this month as recognition for improving their grades in one of their classes, Learning Director Deborah Richardson said. A.T.T.A.C.K. stands for Acknowledging The Tremendous Academic Contributions of Kids. The sophomores received a certificate, sticker and flashlight key chain that states ‘I survived the SHS Sophomore Bear A.T.T.A.C.K.’ The flashlight symbolizes that the students ‘brightened’ their academics and improved their grade. Recipients of the Bear A.T.T.A.C.K. award this month were Joshua Cantu, Al-Muatsem Bahaj, Esteban Fuentes, Seth Ruiz, Tamara Baez and Krecie Jarquin Medina.
