On Monday, the Hanford Police Department received a call regarding a shoplifting which had just occurred at 574 W. Lacey Blvd., CVS. The employee provided a description of the suspect vehicle including a license plate number. A registration check on the vehicle alerted officers it was stolen out of Visalia.

A stop to offer aid by a Kings County deputy resulted in two people arrested for breaking into a vehicle on the roadside.

On Thursday afternoon, a deputy was patrolling in the area of Jersey Avenue and State Route 41 in rural Kings County, when he spotted a Chevrolet Avalanche with an expired vehicle registration traveling in the area. The deputy conducted a traffic enforcement stop and contacted the driver, who identified himself as Alberto Macias.

According to a press release by the Kings County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to investigate the robbery on Monday at 11:45 p.m. The cashier told dispatchers that the subject – later identified as Jeramie Marino – was in the drive-thru, where he told the cashier he would not pay for his meal and instead was going to rob the restaurant.
