Our church, Iglesia del Pacto Evangelico of Kingsburg, has been part of this community since 1988. When our church was planted, there were several other Hispanic congregations meeting locally; currently we are one of two non-Catholic Hispanic congregations in Kingsburg. We are a multi-generational church serving 50 adults and 32 youth on a weekly basis.
As our congregation has grown, we have been blessed to use several buildings in Kingsburg such as a rented store front, followed by the meeting room at KCAPS. Since 2014 we have been sharing space with Kingsburg’s Evangelical Covenant Church. We are very grateful for the generosity of these groups but due to access limitations the time has come for us to have our own church building.
We are now looking for a permanent home church to bring God’s vision to life.
We desire to continue our work reaching out to immigrant families. We also desire to expand our youth programs to include an after-school intervention tutoring program. Our desire is to have a building that will become a house of restoration, a place of refuge, a place of hope. This is only the beginning, we want to be a blessing to our community. We want to see the City of Kingsburg transformed by the power of God.
This is the purpose for which I am reaching out to you, our goal is to raise $300,000 to purchase a local building to house our congregation. The location is 1600 California St., Kingsburg.
You can reach me at 786-9111.
I look forward to speaking with you soon. Thank you in advance for your generosity and support.
