HANFORD — Strong winds blew through the Valley Tuesday evening resulting in the toppling of one of Civic Park's trees.

"Winds gusted to over 30-40 miles per hour across the area yesterday, resulting in numerous reports of trees blown down.  Throughout the next seven days, a few storm systems will pass to our north with the rain line staying north of Sacramento," chief meteorologist of Valley-based weather service WeatherAg.com Scott Borgioli said in a release.

WeatherAg forecasts a dry weekend with light wind this weekend to go along with highs in the 80s.
