HANFORD — California voters had 11 measures on their ballots for Tuesday’s election, over half of which were passed.
Here’s the breakdown of which propositions passed and which failed.
Passed:
- Prop. 1 – Bonds to fund veteran and affordable housing received 3, 836,589 yes votes (54.2 percent).
- Prop. 2 – Amend existing housing program for mental illness garnered 4,354,793 yes votes (61.3 percent).
- Prop. 4 – Bond for children’s hospital construction received 4,309,216 yes votes (60.7 percent).
- Prop. 7 – Change daylight saving time period received 4,229,449 yes votes (60.0 percent).
- Prop. 11 – Emergency ambulance employees on-call garnered 4,291,553 yes votes (60.4 percent).
- Prop. 12 – Farm animals confinement standards had 4,338,351 yes votes (61.1 percent).
Failed:
- Prop. 3 – Bond for water and environmental projects received 3,671,034 no votes (52.3 percent).
- Prop. 5 – Senior property reduction had 4,108,346 no votes (58.2 percent).
- Prop. 6 – Repeal of fuel tax had 3,992,621 no votes (55.3 percent).
- Prop. 8 – Regulates kidney dialysis treatment charges received 4,381,659 no votes (61.4).
- Prop. 10 – Rental control on residential property received 4,436,470 no votes (61.6 percent).
