Born December 29, 1933 in Manila, Philippines, Rodolfo was a loving husband, father of five, grandfather to eleven, and great grandfather of five. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy and retired at Lemoore Naval Air Station after 20 years as an Aviation Storekeeper. After five years of retirement, he then became a Correctional Officer at both Soledad and Avenal State Prisons and even went on to graduate from University of California at San Francisco (UCSF) receiving a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science.
Being an accomplished dancer in many forms of dance, Rodolfo and Caroline were one of the founders of the first Filipino-American Association of Kings County in 1964. Many generations of young dancers and adults have danced under the mentorship of both Rodolfo and Caroline, including all three daughters dancing in The Barrio Fiesta created by Rodolfo and Caroline, held at Lemoore Naval Air Station for many years to follow. He enjoyed playing tennis and was an avid bowler playing in many adult bowling leagues at Lemoore NAS. He continued to add to his retirement the role of 'mural artist' hand painting wall size murals in many schools throughout Kings County including Stratford School, Akers, Island Elementary, John Muir, St. Rose McCarthy Catholic School and Lemoore Union High School.
He was a volunteer teacher's aide at St. Rose McCarthy School, an incredibly active and faithful servant of St. Brigid Parish, and even played the piano to entertain people at retirement and senior citizen homes.
He was known to many as a very kind and humble man.
