Lily Grace Charles
May 23, 2000-December 14, 2018
Lily was born May 23, 2000, she left us on December 14, 2018. The 18 years she gave us were nothing but a blessing everyday.
Lily loved the little things in life and reminded us 'it will be fine'. From the beginning her life was full of physical challenges and surgeries, but she always faced them with bravery and a smile. She just loved people and to be social, she didn't know a stranger and would tell you a story if you had the time.
The last two years had been really good ones. Lily was homecoming attendant her senior year at Selma High School and also graduated and walked with the Class of 2018. Lily loved school, she was currently going to the Adult Transition Program (ATP) in Selma and couldn't wait for what each day would bring. She had a great group of friends and teachers, they got to work in the community. Over the summer she started bowling with ESYN and loved it and made new group of friends there as well.
Lily spent lots of days with her Gram (Verne Hays) doing a little bit of everything and learning a lot about life. She also had a very special relationship with her big sisters, they adored her and she them. They loved movies, music, and just hanging out with each other. She was the sweet positive energy of our family and now we will have to remind ourselves 'it will be fine'.
