November 14, 1950 - November 17, 2018
Jacquie Pardieu, beloved daughter of Jean Pardieu Greer and the late Jim Pardieu died peacefully in her home in Kalama, Washington on November 17, 2018. Jacquie had become quite the family gypsy in her retirement flying up and down the west coast visiting her family in Hanford, San Diego, and San Francisco. Jacquie was in the process of relocating permanently to Hanford when she was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in Spring 2017.
She made fast friends here in Hanford but returned home to Kalama to get treatment from her original medical team and to be with her daughter. Always with a smile on her face and flashing the peace sign, Jac inspired all who knew her. Known as the family dog whisperer, she had been a talented accountant and loved to travel.
As it became difficult to visit her family, her brothers, sister, mother, sisters in law, nieces and nephews all took turns flying monthly to Washington State to care for her and give her support. Jacquie's Kalama friends drove her to the airport, doctor appointments and hospital as needed: it does take a village.
Jacquie remains in the hearts and minds of her family : Daughter Suzie Leach, Kalama, Washington; sister Suzie and John Towns, San Francisco; brother John, Joyce, James, Alex Pardieu, San Diego; brother Jim, Sandy, Heather, Heath Pardieu, Laton.
Memorials will be private.
