Frances Alice Cochrane Good
May 19, 1926-December, 31, 2018
Frances Alice Cochrane Good was born in Hanford, Ca on May 19,1926 and died Dec, 31, 2018 in her son's home in Solvang, Ca. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Good, her mother and father, Harry and Emma Cochrane, her sisters and brothers-in law, Anna Mae and Robert Overton, Dorothy and Wesley Nichols, her daughter, Bonnie Nelson, and son, David R.C. Good.
Frances knew her life was a success because she took care of her husband and raised their four “Good” children. While she found great satisfaction in her family, her greatest talent may have been in making friends and cheering up just about everyone she met.
After working for many years in the title business in Hanford, she and Bob traveled all around the west in their R.V. making friends everywhere they went. They built a home in Three Rivers, CA. and enjoyed the next twenty years of making friends. Her philosophy of life was summed up in her oft repeated, “If you don't have a good time, it's your own damn fault.” Some of her final thoughts were regrets that she 'was going to miss Friday's dance,' and, that she was 'really looking forward to having a good time in Heaven.'
She will be dearly missed by so many friends and by those in her family that survive her, her son, Martin Good (Tricia), her daughter, Peri Lou Good (Jeff Kaplan), her daughter-in-law, Yolanda Montano, son-in-law, Lewis Nelson, grandchildren, Flannery Good ( Jeremy Lane), Tabitha Nelson Bane (Eric Bane), Michael Good (James Messer), Katherine Anne Good, Matthew Good, Patrick Good, Samuel Kaplan-Good, Benjamin Kaplan-Good, and great-grand daughters, Anna Mae Bane and Vivian Lane, as well as her beloved nephews and nieces.
Her memorial will be held in the spring in Grangeville Cemetery where so many of her loved ones are buried.
