Faye Lucille Freeman
February 21, 1929 - December 25, 2017
Faye passed away peacefully on December 25, 2017 at her home in Kingsburg where she had lived happily with her husband for 66 years. Faye was born in Kingsburg to Charlie and Ruby Lungren. She lived on their family dairy and farm located on forty acres. She was always very proud of her life in the country.
Faye graduated from Kingburg High School in 1947. She married Harley Freeman in 1949. Together they were the proud parents of three children: Larry, Diane, and Janet.
Faye was involved in a number of local organizations in Kingsburg. She attended the Kingsburg Community Church. She was a member of the Church Bereavement Committee, the Women's Cancer Committee, and the Women's Church Circle Group. She looked forward to playing Pinochle every Saturday evening and Tuesdays with the Pinochle Group held in Harley's Shop.
Faye will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was predeceased by her husband Harley and son Larry. She leaves behind her two daughters Janet Freeman of Kingsburg and Diane Wiley, husband Rick Wiley, grandsons Garret and Kyle of Arroyo Grande; Granddaughter Leann Nipp, her husband Brian Nipp and five great grandchildren of Texas. Faye also had grandchildren Jared, Shara lee, and Janaya with four additional great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers Faye has requested that donations be sent to The Kingsburg Cancer Volunteer's, P.O. Box 26, Kingsburg, Ca 93631.
Graveside services were held in Kingsburg January 2, 2018.
