Alice Ann Oliveira Liechti
April 29, 1943-February 22, 2019
Alice Oliveira Liechti, 75 of Nipomo, CA went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 22, 2019, with her family by her side. She joins her husband, Robert E. Liechti MD who went home on January 13, 2012.
She is survived by her two sons, Stuart Laureano and wife Monica, Daren Laureano and wife Cathy, along with six grandchildren.
Alice Ann was born to parents Tony and Mary Oliveira in Lemoore, CA. She graduated from Lemoore Union High School class of 1961 and received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fresno State University class of 1965
She improved and enhanced the lives of countless patients over her 45 years of service in the healthcare field. Initially in the hospital environment, then in the office setting assisting in the treatment of cancer patients. Finally a long career in medical case management advocating for patients and facilitating treatment for disabled, injured or terminally ill patients.
She invested her life into helping other people improve their lives. Her charitable work as one of the Founding Directors of the Beckstrand Caner Foundation, focused on enhancing the quality of life of cancer patients and their families, and extended her heart of service long after her working career.
There is no finer example of a wife, mother, grandmother, friend or person that has ever lived.
A celebration of her life will be held at 11:30, Saturday, March 16th with a funeral mass at St. Peters Prince of the Apostles Church, Lemoore, CA.
