HANFORD — One teen was arrested Tuesday after officials said he stole the pants of a victim while brandishing a replica handgun.

Hanford Police Department officials said they received a dispatch call on Tuesday at around 2:15 p.m. stating that a robbery had just occurred at Coe Park, 401 S. Douty St.

Officers said they were advised that the suspect had a gun in his waistband and had stolen the victim’s pants.

The reporting party identified the suspect by name and reported he was last seen headed toward the Lincoln Plaza Apartments.

Reporting officers said they found a person matching the description of the suspect in the area of the Lincoln Plaza Apartments.

According to police, the suspect was found to have the stolen property, as well as a plastic replica handgun.

The suspect was arrested and booked into the Kings County Juvenile Center for robbery, police said. The names of the victim and the suspect are being withheld because they are minors.
