HANFORD — The Hanford Police Department is looking for any information in regards to a suspected hit and run collision that left one victim in the hospital with serious injuries.

Around 7:40 p.m. on Dec. 8, officials said Hanford police officers were dispatched to the area of the 11100 block of Hume Avenue in regards to an injured female lying in the roadway.

Upon arrival, officers said they found a woman who was unable to tell officers what had happened to her due to major injuries. They said she was transported to a local hospital and remains in critical condition at this time.

Through preliminary investigation, police said they have determined the woman was struck by a vehicle, which failed to stop after the collision.
