CORCORAN — The Corcoran Police Department is looking for information on a shooting that injured a juvenile on Sunday, officials said.

Around 12:15 a.m., Corcoran Police officers said they responded to the 1300 block of Bainum Avenue for a report of shots fired in the area.

Soon after arriving to the area, police said officers were notified of a victim suffering from a gunshot wound at a nearby apartment complex. Officers said they contacted the victim, who was identified as a male juvenile.

Officials said the victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening injury.

Officers subsequently located evidence of the crime scene in the 1300 block of Bainum Avenue, authorities said.
