A bicyclist and a car collided on Saturday, leading to moderate injuries for the bicyclist.
The Hanford Police Department said officers responded to the collision around 7:50 p.m. near Jessie Street and Lacey Boulevard. According to the car's driver, he was heading southbound on Jessie Street and was trying to turn right onto Lacey Boulevard when a bicyclist struck the car.
Policed said the driver had stopped at a posted stop sign and proceeded to make the turn after the intersection was clear. As he was turning, the bicyclist, riding on the wrong side of the roadway along Lacey Boulevard, hit the car, was thrown from his bicycle and fell in the road.
