Hundreds gathered in Corcoran today to celebrate the beginning of the cotton harvest and have a good, old-fashioned community festival.

The 49th Annual Cotton Festival featured some new events such as a frog-jumping contest, tricycle races and a free double feature, along with traditional events like a parade, carnival and Rotary pancake breakfast.
