HANFORD — Adults and kids alike joined in on the reindeer games Sunday at the Rockin’ Rudolph Run in Hanford.
Around 1,000 people participated in the 5K run/walk or Kids Fun Run, which benefited Adventist Health hospice patients.
Adventist Health Hanford officials said all of the proceeds from the run are used for patients who might not have insurance or for those whose insurance might not cover the cost of making a patient comfortable during end-of-life care.
This year’s event included food and vendor booths. The run was put on by Adventist Health employees and volunteers, and Sole to Soul fitness.
