Edison Scholars Program: Edison International, the parent company of Southern California Edison, is awarding $40,000 scholarships, paid over four years, to 30 high school students planning to major in STEM fields at four-year accredited U.S. colleges and universities. World Ag Expo and E.M. Tharp, Inc. scholarship: The “We Believe in Growing” scholarship is two $10,000 scholarships to be given out to students planning to attend a four-year university to major in an agricultural field, disbursed over four years at $2,500 a year. High school seniors from Kings, Tulare, Fresno, Madera and Kern counties are eligible to apply. The students must submit their applications by Jan. 19, 2018. Audrey Liebold Memorial Scholarship: This scholarship, being offered by The Kings Players, was established to honor one of the Kings Player’s founders and greatest advocates, Audrey Leibold. Eligible students must be a graduating high school senior and intend to pursue a career and or make a contribution in the field of the Performing Arts. All applications are due by April 1, 2018.
