Terry: Student-run market

Terry Elementary students enrolled in the after-school program will be learning how businesses work as they run produce markets from December through May. The first market is Dec. 12.

SELMA – Terry Elementary’s after-school program students will be hosting monthly produce markets again. The markets will run from December through May at the school’s cafeteria. The first is from 3-6 p.m. Dec. 12 at the school at 12906 S. Fowler Ave, Selma. Produce and juice will be sold and the public is invited to shop at the markets. Cash and check will be accepted only. The market is an educational business learning project so the students may experience how a market works. For details, contact Gao Hang, 400-9885.
