Rotary Marching Band: Non-profits apply

SELMA – Local nonprofit organizations interested in having a food booth during the annual Rotary Marching Band Festival Oct. 27 can apply.

The city of Selma’s Recreation and Community Services Department is accepting applications for Band Festival food vendors at its office at the Selma Senior Center, 2301 Selma St.

The booths are open to local nonprofit groups, churches and to Selma youth organizations. Only 10 food booths will be allowed. The booth space fee is $75 and includes the County Health Department inspection charge. All food vendor and special event food assessment applications are available at the Selma Senior Center. Electricity is limited to booth spaces 1-17 which will be located around the plaza and bandstand. Electricity is limited to 20 amps per booth. Please use 12-gauge cords. Generators may be used and barbecuing may take place at booth spaces 18-33. Each main food item is limited to one booth.
