Alzheimer’s fundraiser: The Kingsburg Care Center is hosting a fundraising dinner to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association that features Jeremy “Elvis” Pearce. Fish Fry-Day: Kingsburg’s Holy Family Knights of Columbus is hosting one more Friday Night Fish Fry on April 12. Take out is 4:30-6 p.m. and dine-in is 6-7:30 p.m. Adult price is $15 and children ages 6-12 are $7.

Historical Park Bridal Expo: Kingsburg’s Historical Park is hosting its first Bridal Expo from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Park, 2321 Sierra St. There is no charge to attend. Clay/trap shoot: Selma High School FFA Boosters and Central Valley Guns are hosting the third annual Benefit Sporting Clays/Trap Shoot from 8 a.m. to noon April 13 at the Tulare County Trap Club, 7394 Avenue 328. Cost is $75 per shooter with 100 total targets. Event includes continental breakfast, rib-eye lunch and awards. A pre-event ‘You Choose’ raffle sponsored by Selma’s Central Valley Guns includes the option of winning a Browning silver field shotgun, 2-3 day Disneyland Park Hopper passes or $500 in cash. Tickets for the raffle are $5 each. Drawing takes place after the awards. Need not be present to win. Proceeds allow more FFA members to attend and compete at various FFA-sanctioned events and competitions throughout the state at no cost to them or their families. Historical Society’s 50th Anniversary: The Kingsburg Historical Society is having a free picnic for society members and the general public to celebrate its 50th Anniversary. The celebration is 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 28. Picnic includes hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and a drink. Dessert vendors will be on site. Kids’ bounce house will be available. A short informational meeting will be at 1 p.m.
