KINGSBURG – Students who earned perfect scores on the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress were recognized during the Oct. 15 Kingsburg Elementary Charter School District Board meeting.
Some students earned perfect scores in the English Language Arts portion of the test, while others earned perfect scores in math. Some earned perfect scores on both portions of the test.
In a letter to the students, Superintendent Wes Sever said the board was “truly looking forward to meeting you. Achieving a perfect score on the CAASPP Test is a tremendous accomplishment. I know you have a bright future ahead of you in high school and in college.”
The following students were recognized.
Perfect score in English: Emma Wiest, Ethan Unruh, Maycee Givens, Alison Rogers, Marlee Hard, Bellamy Zavala, Natalie Zenteno, Kate Guerrero, Dennis Fan, Rachael Farley, Gracie Davis, Camille Zavala, Camila Gutierrez, Leyann Abdelfattah, Trista Fry, Elijah Rice and Anthony Soto.
Students who achieved perfect scores in math were: Elyse Heffron Watamara, Onnika Aguirre and Ryan Merrill.
Students who earned perfect scores on both portions of the CAASPP were: Nathaniel Bahne, Eli Yokota, Samuel Farley, Devyn Sasai, Hannah Mettee and Caleb Bahne.
