KINGSBURG – Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit Detectives arrested two more suspects on Aug. 2 in connection with the homicide of Nieko Manderson.
Manderson was found dead earlier this year on April 2 in the 4100 Block of Avenue 400 in Kingsburg.
Sheriff's officials said detectives found evidence linking Jose Cervantes and Mario Ismael Torres to the death. Cervantes was arrested July 30 in Sanger on an unrelated attempted homicide case and is currently in custody in Fresno County.
Violent Crimes Unit Detectives and the SWAT Team served two search warrants in Parlier and Torres was then taken into custody, officials said.
This marks the third arrest related to Manderson’s death. Miguel Corona was arrested on June 28 and is currently in custody facing homicide charges.
