SELMA – As the temperatures warm up and the surrounding orchards start to bloom, residents and visitors from around the globe will be touring the country side to enjoy Fresno County’s Blossom Trail. Selma’s District Chamber of Commerce is hosting the kick-off of the Trail season at a 10 a.m. reception Feb. 8 at the Selma Arts Center, 1935 High St.
Traditionally, the trail comes into full bloom mid-late February through March.
The Blossom Trail is a self-guided tour that visitors can either drive through or bicycle through to enjoy. Selma and Kingsburg are featured along the route along with the communities of Sanger, Reedley, Orange Cove and Fowler.
Local vendors and businesses such as Selma’s Circle K Ranch at Manning Avenue west of McCall, and Kingsburg’s Ramos Torres Winery at 1665 Simpson St., are among featured offerings along the trail.
