The Bringing Broken Neighborhoods Back to Life annual Appreciation Luncheon was Feb. 9 at the First Baptist Church.

SELMA – Bringing Broken Neighborhoods Back To Life held its fifth annual Appreciation Luncheon to thank the numerous community members, faith leaders and police officers involved in the group’s efforts.

The luncheon was Feb. 9 at the First Baptist Church in Selma. Certificates of appreciation were presented to those involved in their fifth season of hosting community events.

Bringing Broken Neighborhoods Back To Life was founded by Selma Police Chief Greg Garner and the Selma Ministerial Association and has hosted a number of outreach activities to bring resources directly to Selma’s neighborhoods.

They’ve co-hosted Soup and Bread Festivals, the annual March for Jesus and numerous block parties since their inception. See more of their events online at http://bit.ly/2T0eK6g.
