The meetings are informational with programs and benefits available to all veterans and a chance to meet and talk to other veterans in the area.

The Hanford chapter of the Veteran’s of Foreign Wars Nisei-Liberty Post was founded on Oct. 7, 1949 by members of the 442RCT, MIS and the 100th Battalion who fought in World War II. The 100th/442nd RCT became the most decorated unit in U.S. military history for its size and length of service.
