VISALIA — Ally Martinez shot a team-low 90 and led Sierra Pacific to a first-place finish in Tuesday’s East Sequoia League 18-hole tournament at Valley Oaks Golf Course.
Martinez, the No. 4 golfer, and the rest of the team shot a 478 to finish 147 strokes ahead of second-place finisher Lindsay High.
Lindsay shot a 625, Strathmore a 634 and Granite Hills a 672. Like previous weeks, the Golden Bears continue to be golden.
No. 2 golfer Sam Coons shot a 91, No. 3 golfer Megan Ulibarri a 94, No. 5 golfer Journey Claycamp a 101, No 1 golfer Amanda Jorgensen a 102 and No. 6 golfer Subreen Nahal a 133.
Sierra Pacific will now gear up for Monday’s ESL championship at Lemoore Golf Course with an 11 a.m. tee off.
