On behalf of the Selma Cares Board, I wish to thank the community of Selma for their support of the Selma Cares Food and Toy distribution held on December 16 and 17, 2016. We had over two hundred volunteers who assisted with this event, either Friday night with putting the food together or on Saturday Dec. 17 when we handed out the food and the toys.
Thanks to Bringing Broken Neighborhood Back to Life for the entertainment and the Santa Photos, Santa , all the school clubs , the sports teams, the churches and individuals who came out and helped. It takes a community working together to make this event happen and I say THANK YOU to a Great Community of people who have a heart for service. I am proud that I live in Selma!
