Selma Unified School District is dealing with the dismissal of its superintendent. The board voted him out, but they are prohibited by law to reveal personnel matters. How should we react? I know and trust the board members, and I have been given no evidence of their misconduct. They have explained that they had reasons for their vote, but they are not allowed to reveal them. Unfortunately, that is a problem we have to live with under the current legal system.

If the recall advocates have evidence of illegal activity, I believe they should have it printed in the Enterprise. Until then I will continue to support our elected leaders. Please do not recall these men on the basis of rumor or assumed malfeasance.
