LEMOORE – The Lemoore public works department has scheduled a public forum for July 22.

The event is designed to allow residents to ask questions or share concerns about street issues, garbage service, water service and sewer/wastewater service.

The department is looking for feedback on the current level of service and potential changes.

Recent attention in Lemoore has been focused on who is responsible for fixing damaged sidewalks and who assumes legal liability if somebody is injured on a cracked or broken sidewalk.

The forum is limited to the first 20 residents who make reservations. Residents can reserve a spot by contacting or by calling 924-6700.

The forum will be held at 9 a.m. at 711 W. Cinnamon St. in the Cinnamon Municipal Complex multipurpose room.

Meetings will be held quarterly. Lemoore Public Works Director Nathan Olson will host.
