Philex Brinklyn Sellers
January 3, 1930 - November 18, 2017
Traver resident Philex Brinklyn Sellers passed away Saturday November 18th, 2017 at his home at the age of 87.
Philex retired from the Navy after 20 years of service. He was on the flight line in Vietnam for two tours. He was a jet mechanic working on the myriad lines of hydraulics that operates many critical maneuvers necessary to keep the jets flying.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
He is survived by a brother Daniel Joe Sellers and sister Betty and husband Jimmy Hanna, a daughter Linda and husband Ed Mangini, a son Keith Sellers and wife Judy. He has ten grandchildren, Steven jr. and wife Cathy Sellers, Carrie Augusta, Chris Anne and husband Gregg Booth, Klinda Sellers, Philip and wife Ashlee Sellers, Ryan and wife Jennifer Smith, Amy and husband Dwight Stricker, Jennifer and husband Jesse Perry, Ed Mangini, and Ian and Wife Keelia Sellers, and numerous great, great grandchildren.
Visitation was held Monday November 27th, at Creighton Memorial Chapel. A funeral service was held at 9 am Tuesday at the chapel, with interment following at Kingsburg Cemetery.
