Lonnie David Loven, 78, of Kingsburg CA passed away peacefully on October 16, 2017 after courageously battling the effects of ALSou Gehrig's disease for 3 years.

Lonnie was born in Kingsburg to Ervin and Agnes Loven, and had a younger brother, Terry Loven, who preceded him in death. Lonnie grew up on the family farm outside of Kingsburg attending Canal School through 8th grade, and was a member of a graduating class with 7 students.

Lonnie lived in Kingsburg for most of his life and loved working with his hands making things, fixing things and being a uniquely gifted “handy man”. Lonnie loved to travel and go on adventures such as going to Sweden twice to visit places where family came from, camping with family and friends in his travel trailer, going out to the desert with his “desert buddies” to look at old mines, and especially ride his Honda Gold Wing motorcycle racking up many thousands of miles over the years. Lonnie was active in the Kingsburg Covenant Church his entire life, serving in many capacities in it's ministry.
