HANFORD — The Taoist Temple Preservation Society’s 33rd annual Moon Festival created a focus on Chinese culture on Saturday.

The festival featured information booths, shopping, exhibits, authentic Chinese food, crafts and entertainment dancers and drummers. In addition, the Taoist Temple and Museum and L.T. Sue Tea Room were open for tours.

The Taoist Temple Preservation Society is using a portion of the proceeds from the festival to go toward various restoration projects in the area, such as the century-old L.T. Sue Herb Co. building.
