LEMOORE — Lemoore residents have a chance to give their feedback about the services the Lemoore Public Works office provides at a Community Round Table meeting on Dec. 1.
The meeting will start at 6 p.m. at the CMC conference room, 711 W. Cinnamon Drive. There are only 20 spots available, and those interested in attending need to send an email to email@example.com.
“It is really intended to be an open discussion,” said Lemoore Public Works Director Nathan Olson. “It’s their time to give me their feedback.”
The public works office provides services in water treatment and distribution, street repairs, sewer, storm drain, vehicle maintenance, public building maintenance, street maintenance and lighting and landscape maintenance.
Olson said this will be the second meeting for residents to give feedback. Two people attended a similar meeting in July.
To get more people to attend, Olson said he advertised the December meeting more and created a Lemoore Public Works Facebook page to provide more information to the community about additional meetings and services.
“It’s just to be more visible and let people know what’s going on,” he said. “Social media now is a great way to get information out.”
Olson said he plans to organize these meetings quarterly.
“It’s open dialogue to better serve our community,” he said.
