LEMOORE — The Lemoore City Council will hold three public hearings Tuesday during its regular open session meeting, two pertaining to the city’s general plan and zoning ordinances and one pertaining to the Landscape and Lighting Maintenance District.
The first public hearing will be a request to change the general plan land use designation from “professional office” to “light industrial” in one of the city’s zones. The second public hearing will be about zoning amendments in the city’s municipal code.
The third public hearing will be about adding territory or establishing sub-zones within the city’s Landscape and Lighting Maintenance District zones.
Before the regular session, council is to hold a study session at 5:30 p.m. about the 2016 annual report from the Lemoore Chamber of Commerce.
After the study session but before regular session at 7:30 p.m., council will hold a closed session to discuss a liability claim.
In new business, council will discuss in regular session:
- A report on Lemoore Naval Air Station
- The construction bid award for the Lemoore Senior Citizens Center
- Fox Street sidewalk remediation
- Award bid for Cimmaron Park sewer system repairs and cured-in-place piping
