Oct. 12-15

'Ghostwalk Night' tour - Hanford: Oct. 12-15, Hanford Carnegie Museum, 109 E. 8th St., Hanford. Take a walking tour of Hanford's historical and haunted buildings. During the tour, apparitions may appear and tell their stories. Some of the tour stops will include; The Hanford Carnegie Museum, The Bastille and Civic Auditorium. Oct. 13-15, 20-22 and 27-29

Nay's Western Town & Pumpkin Patch - Corcoran: Oct. 13-15, noon to 8 p.m., Farmers Lumber Company, 2213 Whitley Ave., Corcoran. Come on down and pick your very own pumpkin while the kids enjoy the Billy Bounce House, bean bag toss, ring toss, corn hole, hayrides and more. Props available for photos and food available. Admission is free. Will be open through Oct. 20-22, Oct. 27-29, information: Call 992-4171.

Truck-or-treat - Selma: Oct. 25, 6 p.m. Selma First Baptist, 2025 Grant St., Selma. Come out for family fun for dress-up and trunk-or-treating. Information: Call 896-5842.

Friday, Oct. 27

Halloween Dance - Selma: Oct. 27, 9 a.m. to noon, Selma Senior Center, 2301 Selma St., Selma. Seniors come out with your favorite costume for ghoulish fun! $8 for lunch and dance, there will be a DJ, games and prizes. Information: Call the Senior Center at 891-2239, or sign up with Ethel.

Trunk-or-treat at Genesis Healthcare - Kingsburg: Oct. 27, 3-5 p.m., Genesis Healthcare Kingsburg Center, 1101 Stroud Ave., Kingsburg. Children 12 years and under are invited to participate in the fun of dressing up and trick or treating. Children should be accompanied by an adult. Information: Contact Lucy, at 897-5881. 

Saturday, Oct. 28

KARR's Trunk-or-treat Cruise-In: Oct. 28, 4:30 p.m. till dark, Der Wienerschnitzel, 807 W. Lacey Blvd., Hanford. Join Kings Area Road Relics as they host a Trunk-or-treat party with classic cool cars, costume contests and tasty treats. Free to trick-or-treaters. If you want to showcase your classic or special interest car in the event, a bag of candy is the entry fee. Information: Call 584-9769. 

Halloween Kids' Night Out: Oct. 28, 5:30-9:30 p.m.,  Lee's United Gymnastics, 505 W. 6th St., Hanford. Drop the kids off for a night out of Halloween-themed fun. Gymnastics, games, crafts, pinata and pizza. Tickets: Members $26, non-members $31, for ages four years and up. Information: Call 582-4140. 

Sunday, Oct. 29

Fifth annual Dia de los Muertos Celebration - Armona: Oct. 29, noon to 3 p.m., Kings Cultural Center, 14054 Front St., Armona. Celebrate Dia de los Muertos with the Kings Cultural Center. Everyone is invited to dress up and participate. You can expect a beautiful altar, kids workshops, pan Mexicano, tacos for sale, Aztec and Folklorico dancers, Mariachi and fiddler music. Have your face painted and take pictures with the gorgeous Catrinas. You can also choose to participate in the torta challenge and best outfit/costume contest. Information: Call 250-6312. 

Fall Family Festival - Hanford: Oct. 29, 1-4 p.m., Hanford Civic Park, 400 N. Douty St., Hanford. Come out and walk through a trick-or-treat maze, ride the carousel, costume contests, vendors, raffles and more. Trick-or-treaters entry $1. Carousel, Freddy the Firetruck rides are free. Tuesday, Oct. 31

Trunk-or-treat - Kingsburg: Oct. 31, 5:30 p.m., Concordia Lutheran Church's fourth annual trunk-or-treat will be held at 1800 Sierra St., Kingsburg. Free candy and free hot dogs. Contact: 897-2165. 

Trunk-or-treat - Hanford: Oct. 31, 6-7:30 p.m., Calvary Christian Center, 11274 Hanford Armona Road, Hanford. Come out for free food, games and prizes. Trunk-or-treat for the kids and fun for the whole family.

Trick-or-treat at the Hanford Mall: Oct. 31, 5-7 p.m., inside the Hanford Mall, 1675 W. Lacey Blvd., Hanford. Grab your costumes, goodie bags for an evening of family fun, free treats, balloon art, face painting and Halloween photos on a green screen. Information: Call 583-1200. 

Halloween Trunk-or-treat party - Hanford: Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m., at Victory Estates. Join the Hanford Nazarene Church as they host the annual alternative trunk-or-treat party. There will be games, bounce house, slide, food and entertainment. Admission is free. Proceeds from the Hanford Nazarene Church's Fireworks booth provide for this annual event. Information: Victory Estates is located at the corner of University Avenue and Berkshire Lane across from Simas Elementary School in Hanford, 923-1200. 

Thursday, Nov. 2

Dia de los Muertos - Hanford: Nov. 2, 5 p.m., Civic Center, 400 N. Douty St., Hanford. Hanford Multicultural Theater Company is hosting the inaugural Dia de los Muertos celebration in Hanford. Admission is free. Traditional altars/ofrendas, the largest sugar skull on display in the Valley and art from local artists. Food, music, children's activities, costume contest to crown the king, queen, prince and princess Dia de Los Muertos. An improv performance by HMTC children acting class, and the HMTC theater company. Special activity from Margaritas and Masterpieces paint company.
