This very welcoming home was built in 2010. River rock creek beds, queen palms, hedged red Carpet Roses and pastiche trees are the foundations that enhance the very stately front and back gardens. A point of interest, these river rock beds help with the watershed on the front garden. A beautiful water fountain accents the expanse of scenery quite well. The circle drive and green lawns balance the entrance of the lovely property.

As you enter the back garden, take in the feeling Russ and Cindy Verdegaal have achieved. One important aspect of planning the garden was low maintenance for the owners. The choice of the plants and the plan of the landscape achieved this main objective. Another requirement for the home was to showcase a beautiful large pool. Russ relinquished all the planning regarding the landscape to Cindy, but his only request was the pool.

A very large covered patio with beautiful seating areas near the house looks out to the spacious yard and pool. The eye catching outdoor kitchen, bar and beautiful fireplace shout entertainment and relaxation! This area was designed to be used by the Verdegaals for their special family gatherings and, of course, many guests. The very large shop, as Russ refers to it, is storage for their motor home, which is used on their many family trips. This shop doubles for poker nights, parties and a wonderful extended area for entertaining and storage.

Let’s not forget to mention a fun feature added to this huge back yard, the putting green. It not only takes some grass away, but adds more activity to this attractive area.

Russ explained that the east fence would soon be taken out which adjoins the newly built home, next door to them. This property was purchased and a home was built by his daughter and her family. By removing the fence the grandchildren will have easy access to the pool and extend both their yards for gatherings.

The Verdegaal gardens are a picturesque example of planning for family and friends to be part of their life. Birthdays, holidays and celebrations are a staple to this beautiful family gathering place.
