LEMOORE – The Lemoore Police Department is searching for two men suspected to be involved in a homicide on May 17.

About 3:230 p.m. on May 17, police responded to a report that there was a man with stab wounds in the 800 block of Hanford-Armona Road. The victim died at the scene. His name and age have yet to be released.

Based on detectives’ investigations, police believe they have identified the suspects in the homicide as 18-year-old Jaime Alfredo Macias of Hanford and 23-year-old Issac Gabriel Gaytan of Lemoore. 

Police said they are searching for Macias and Gaytan and the two are considered to be armed and dangerous. Police say the two should not be approached by the public and anyone should call 911 immediately if they come into contact with them.

Police are asking for the public’s help with information concerning the whereabouts of the two.

The May 17 homicide was the second within a week in the city of Lemoore after the city hadn’t had a homicide in five years.
