HJUHSD teacher recruitment fair: Feb. 28, 5-7 p.m., HJUHS District office, 823 W. Lacey Blvd., Hanford. Hanford Joint Union High School District is hosting a teacher recruitment fair in the following subjects; math, English, science, special education, physical education, and Ag. HJUHSD will accept applications for all single subject teaching areas. Intern eligible, STSP eligible and PIP eligible applications are encouraged to apply. Short-term work experience program: The Kings County Job Training Office is supporting a short-term work experience program. JTO can fully underwrite the cost of worker wages and workers compensation insurance. The participating employer would provide training and worksite supervision. The training is planned to run for a maximum six months. Worksites are sought to sponsor a worker for up to 40 hours per week.
