Attention Naval Hospital Lemoore Beneficiaries

The Immediate Care Clinic (ICC) is now CLOSED. There will no longer be urgent or emergent care provided at Naval Hospital Lemoore.

If you have a medical emergency, utilize the closest civilian emergency facility, or dial 911. After your Emergency Room visit, please follow up with your Medical Home Port team provider so that we may assist with any needed follow-on care.

The Medical Homeport Clinic has extended their clinic hours to meet the needs of our beneficiaries. Clinic hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Weekend and holiday clinic hours are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Expanded Hornet Health Clinic (HHC) Active Duty hours. HHC is now open until 5:30 p.m. on weekdays. HHC staff will provide active duty clinic at NHL’s main hospital building on weekends and holidays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., starting the week of July 1.

The Nurse Advise Line (NAL) is available 24/7 for medical advice, acute appointments and urgent treatment authorizations. The NAL is a team of registered nurses who are available to answer a variety of healthcare questions. They can help you decide whether self-care is the best option, or if it is better to see your healthcare provider. To access the NAL, dial 1-800-TRICARE (874-2273); Option 1.

To schedule a regular appointment with your provider, please call Central Appointments at 559-998-0889. Their hours of operation are 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Mon-Fri).

Valley Oak SPCA offers three new adoption programs

Valley Oak SPCA is offering new adoption specials for seniors, senior pets and military personnel.

“In an effort to find new homes for more animals, we are pleased to announce an expansion to our Pets for Seniors program and new adoption programs for our service personnel and senior pets,” said Tami Crawford, executive director.

The Pets for Seniors program is designed for those people 55 years or better who would like to adopt a pet. Pets for Seniors adoption fees: $20 cats and $25 dogs on pets arriving at our shelter already spayed or neutered. For any pets that we spay or neuter, adoption fees: $60 cats, $125 dogs ($15 discount).

The Silver Muzzle Club is to help re-home our senior cats and dogs, ages 5 years and older. Senior animals make great pets and have lots of love to share. Senior pets may be adopted for $5 off adoption prices.

The Military Service program is designed for active, retired and veteran military personnel who would like to adopt a pet. Military Service personnel can adopt a dog or cat at 15% discount. Each adoption also includes a free gift of pet apparel, toy or grooming supplies.

In addition to the cats and kittens available at our shelter, Valley Oak SPCA has cats for adoption at Petsmart in Visalia and Porterville.

FRA Branch 261 events

The FRA, Branch 261, located at 788 East D Street in Lemoore, is a non-profit organization that represents the interests of members of the Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard.

All active duty, reservists, honorably discharged veterans, and retirees of the Sea Services are eligible for membership.
