For 51 years the community of Kingsburg and the central valley has been able to enjoy the Kingsburg Swedish Festival. Events just don’t happen – they are created, they are planned, they are hard work. This year was no exception. Volunteers giving hundreds of hours and working for months to continue a tradition of good food, entertainment and family fun.

To name each volunteer would be impossible and someone would be left out. Organizations that include Kingsburg Cancer Volunteers, Kingsburg High School FFA, Kingsburg Lions Club, Kingsburg Rotary Club, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Chamber Board Members, City of Kingsburg, City of Kingsburg Public Works, Berman’s Flowers, Kiwanis Club, Kingsburg High School Key Club, KHS Music Department, Kingsburg High School, Kingsburg Elementary School, Kingsburg Police Department and Explorers, Kingsburg Fire Department and Explorers, the Community Services Volunteers, The Village Mall, JP Solutions and all the business and individuals that helped make this year’s Swedish Festival a success.

To the people of this community that serve, that dresses in Swedish Costume, that attends the events, that serves as ambassadors for this great little town – we thank you. To the people of this community that are not Swedish but realize it is a wonderful town to raise a family and supports the efforts of the Swedish Festival Committee – we thank you.

As we begin the plans for the 2018 Swedish Festival we are excited about our commitment to provide an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate Kingsburg’s Swedish heritage. We look forward to seeing you there.
