Tough Mudder events are hard-core 10-12 mile obstacle courses designed by British Special Forces to test all-around strength, stamina, mental grit and camaraderie. These events have been held all around the world with more than $5 million being raised for the Wounded Warrior Project.

Recently, some Kingsburg natives took the challenge as they tested their strength and stamina in a Tough Mudder event in Las Vegas. Sonia Hernandez, Chris Hernandez, Josh Luker, Javier Sandoval, Bailey Carlson and Lauren Carlson, all from Kingsburg, were able to complete the grueling course with obstacles known as the Spiders Web, Trench Warfare and Twinkle Toes, just to name a few. Here are some photos from the event.
