Lap swimming: Summer swim starts in June 11

Lap swimming has started at the Crandell Swim Complex at Kingsburg High School. Aqua aerobics will start Monday, April 30 and the full schedule of summer swim programs starts on Monday, June 11.

KINGSBURG – The lap swimming pre-season has begun at the Crandell Swim Complex at Kingsburg High School, 1900 18th Ave.

The April and May schedule is 5:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The cost is $2.50 per session or $30 per month.

Aqua aerobics will start on Monday, April 30. The schedule is 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Classes are $4 per session or $45 per month. For more information, call 897-5328.

The Complex will open Monday, June 11, for all programming after school releases. Programs include the junior lifeguard programs, public swim, swim lesson, night swim and dive-in movies and availability for pool rentals. The facility has a snack bar, restrooms, showers, picnic tables and shade areas.
