Knights of Columbus annual pancake breakfast - Lemoore: Sunday, 7 a.m. to noon., O'Doherty Hall, MIQ School, 884 N. Lemoore Ave. Hosted by Msgr. John O'Friel's Knights of Columbus Council. American Legion Auxiliary fundraiser: RSVP deadline Monday. Event date Oct. 28, 6 p.m., Veterans Memorial Building, 401 N. Irwin St., Hanford. The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 3 Hanford is hosting a "Loaded Potato Bar," that includes chili, pulled pork and all the toppings for your bake potato with a salad. Drinks available. Project Homeless Connect clothing drive: Now through January, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, Business Technology Center, Hanford Adult School, 905 N. Campus Dr., Hanford. The Business Technology Center working with Kings United Way, will be collecting washable items for men, women and children. We will take all sizes in shoes, socks, jeans, shirts, sweats, coats, sweaters anything that is warm. Men's clothing is more desirable as the women prefer men's clothing. Hurricane relief fund: Monday through Nov. 10, Kings Federal Credit Union, 1415 W. Lacey Blvd., Hanford. Kings Federal Credit Union will be accepting donations to the Red Cross for a hurricane relief fund. The goal of this campaign will be to raise as much money as possible in order to help those affected by this year’s hurricanes. Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands have suffered greatly as a result of the combined forces of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria. Additionally, Kings Federal Credit Union will be holding a document shred week from Oct. 30-Nov. 3. For a donation of $5 or more, a single box of documents can be brought in for professional shredding.

Salvation Army food pantry looking for donations: The Salvation Army is accepting donations for the food pantry that serves the Kings County area. God's Bread Box - Lemoore: Christ Church Anglican Mission, 740 N. 19th Ave., Lemoore. God's Bread Box is a non-profit organization that passes out food to the people in the Lemoore area who are in need of that extra little help. The group welcomes all volunteers to help on the fourth Friday of the month from 2-4 p.m. to package the food stuffs and on fourth Saturday of the month from 8:30-11 a.m. to distribute the food.
