Martin Luther King Day: Monday, Hanford Civic Auditorium, 400 N. Douty St., Hanford. Join the NAACP, Branch 1039, as they host the annual celebration of Martin Luther King Day. The Keynote speaker will be Marcia Rincon-Gallardo MSW, one of Silicon Valley's "Honored Woman of the Year," for her dedicated work helping high school girls realize their dreams through several collaborative federal, state and non-profit agencies. Come out and make this day special in recognizing and acknowledging the national civil rights of all Americans, regardless of ethnicity, color, creed, religion and socio-economic background.
