Turkey Trot 5K: Thursday, 8-9 a.m. sign in, downtown Hanford. First 20 males and 20 females will receive a medallion. The race offers a scenic 5K route through Downtown Hanford on Thanksgiving morning, benefiting over 20 local charities. Rockin’ Rudolph Run: Dec. 3, 7:45 a.m., downtown Hanford. The Kings Regional Health Foundation is hosting the annual Rockin’ Rudolph Run. The 5k Christmas run/walk is a family-fun event also features a kid’s reindeer run and costume contest. Children will be given little antlers to wear, and a special appearance by Santa. These classes can help with gross and fine motor skills, social skills and active listening. After school art classes: Session one: Wednesdays, now through Oct. 5. Session two: Oct. 11 through Nov. 16. Kings Art Center, 605 N. Douty St., Hanford. Classes are broken down by age groups: Ages five to six years meet Wednesdays 3-3:45 p.m., ages seven to eight years meet Wednesdays 3:45-5 p.m. and ages nine to 11 years meet Thursdays 3:45-5 p.m. Full sessions are $54 or $10 per class.
