Education: Graduate of Hanford High School; attended College of the Sequoias.
Work/Political/Civic Experience: Farmer and dairyman; advocate for the dairy industry in Sacramento and Washington, D.C.; active in many local causes, including Children’s Hospital Central California, 4-H, Future Farmers of America and various Catholic charities; member of the California Assembly representing the 30th District since 2010.
Why are you the best candidate in this race? Congress provides the best opportunity to secure a reliable water supply for the Central Valley and encourage private sector job growth. I have lived in the 21st District my entire life and I feel I am best equipped to represent the Central Valley in Congress.
