Hanford frosh defeat El Diamante
VISALIA - Hanford High's freshman football team scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to defeat El Diamante 29-19 on Thursday, remaining undefeated on the season.
Ricky Mora scored on a two-yard run and Victor Bonilla added a 40-yard scoring run to complete the come-from-behind win.
Ricky Mora opened the scoring on a 2-yard run and an Ishmael Castaneda to Allan Taylor reverse pass made it 15-0 in the first quarter, but El Diamante scored three unanswered touchdownsx to take a 19-15 lead heading into the final quarter.
Bonilla led the 'Pups in rushing with 85 yards on 10 carries.
Hanford plays Lemoore for the West Yosemite League title on Thursday at the Neighbor Bowl. Kickoff is 5 p.m., followed by the junior varsity game.
