ARMONA -- The Armona Methodist Church Third Wednesday Luncheon will be at noon Jan. 21 in the Social Hall at 14013 Hanford Armona Road. LATON -- A support group for those who have lost loved ones will be from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Tuesday at the Laton Community Church of the Brethren, 3090 E Mt. Whitney, Laton. This is a 13-week session.

FPU classes

HANFORD -- Financial Peace University (FPU) is a 13-week program that teaches families and individuals how to handle their money through common-sense principles and small group accountability. FPU is available for churches, companies, military bases, financial literacy programs, Spanish speaking organizations and community groups. FPU classes will be held in Hanford at:

Central Valley Christian Women's Connection

VISALIA -- The Central Valley Christian Women's Connection is having a luncheon, "Out With the Old, in With the New," on Monday at the Lamp Liter banquet room, West Main and Mineral King. The speaker, Bonnie Parrett, is a furniture restoration expert and former confirmed athiest. An "old and young" fashion show will be the special feature and Henry Serrato will perform the musical feature. The buffet will take place from 11:30 a.m. to noon, with the meeting following from noon to 1:30 p.m. Luncheon reservations appreciated. Price is $13.50, inclusive. Recovery Ministry

HANFORD -- The Hanford PCG is now offering a Recovery Ministry called Pathways. Pathways is currently hosting a Christian 12-Step meeting of Overcomers Outreach at 7 p.m. every Thursday.Overcomers Outreach uses the 12 steps to help people in recovery from addictions and compulsive behaviors such as alcoholism, drugs, gambling, eating, sexual addictions and more. All are welcome to attend, even family members of those struggling.
